The measures in the Focus Chart are determined by the Work Team and are based on the themes and objectives defined by the Management Team. Teams will have multiple focus charts, although np more than four are recommended.

Teams at all levels monitor performance and initiate BPI activities to further improve performance. BPI activities should be aligned with a focus chart metric.

These charts should be provided to teams as pre-printed large format posters.

Once the opportunities are listed the next level team approves and priorities the ideas.

Once approved an A3 is initiated and the improvement opportunity undertaken.
